It was a sunny morning. Danny, the Octozaur, woke up early in a good mood. He helped Mom to make breakfast for the whole family. Mom loved when Danny did it, so he tried to help her as often as he could.

After breakfast, Danny decided to take care of his business. He had a lot to do. First, he had to play with a puppy. Then, he wanted to check on little birds that had hatched in the nest he found nearby.

Danny took the ball, called the puppy and headed to the back yard. The puppy was delighted. Danny would throw the ball, and the puppy would fetch. It was fun when Danny caught up with him to get the ball back.

To catch the puppy was a piece of cake . In the long run, Danny had eight legs. He was a pretty good runner. Nevertheless, he was not in a hurry and pretended that the puppy ran faster than him. Finally, the puppy got tired and fell asleep in the grass.
