Suddenly, the line started moving Danny screamed, Daddy, Grandpa, It’s a fish! I’ve caught a fish!”
Dad helped Danny to get the fish out of the water. Of course, it was a very small fish. Dad unhooked it and put it into a bucket with water. Danny was looking at his first catch. He knew that he has to let it go back , but it was hard to do. At last, he threw the water out with his little fish into the lake.
Now everybody was starving, so they were ready for lunch. Eating his Sandwich, Danny repeated the story of his success. Grandpa and Dad said they were proud of him and now he is a real fisherman. Danny was so proud of himself. He could not wait to tell Mom about his good luck. He was sure, Mom would be happy too .
Sure, Mom was excited. She said she was proud that he was a big kid now and learned how to fish. Little Becca listened to Danny and said that she was a big kid now and wanted to learn how to fish. Everybody laughed and tolled Becca she is too young to try. Becca cried and cried and insisted she was a big kid. She got quiet only when Dad promised that next year he would buy her a fishing rod and she would go fishing with all of them.
